Manage the Renewable Energy Unit’s sales and financial performance in line with the objectives of the Group
Develop individual team members’ sales quotas/targets and works with the Head of Renewable Energy to assign territories for team members
Develop and implements periodic national/regional sales programs and initiatives, plans and tactics to capture key demographics and deliver expected P&L outcomes
Maintain/grow sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, periodic reports as well as structured customer feedback to improve product offering and general performance
Assess the sales processes and procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement, and implements them
Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
Provide on-the-ground support for direct reports where necessary, to generate leads and close new deals
Meet with customers/suppliers and other stakeholders to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies to remain effective on the job
Manages coaches, mentors, and motivates direct reports to foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
Coordinate market surveys and gathers intelligence for the use of the Marketing and Product teams, to improve the quality of the products
Deliver accurate, timely, and quality reports to relevant stakeholders to improve decision-making quality.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of first degree in any discipline, in addition. Professional certifications, and post-graduate degree are an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years in mid-management capacity in a related field, preferably oil & gas, energy, gas, or power.
Must demonstrate collaboration behavior with good facilitation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Must have a proven ability to sell, meet targets, lead, and influence positively, across relevant function
Must be result-oriented with strong analytical skills
Must have good understanding of at least one CRM system, and proficient in Microsoft Office
