• Prepare and post journal entries to account for all business transactions with adequate documentation. 
• Prepare and record Sales invoices. Ensure regular review of accounts receivable and follow-up on overdue invoices. 
• Update accounts payable and perform regular reconciliation. 
• Regular reconciliation of all bank accounts. 
• Support in protecting the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. 
• Maintain schedule of prepayments and accruals and ensure they are reviewed and booked monthly. 
• Assist with trial balance review to ensure transactions are adequately and correctly recorded before month-end close. 
• Also, perform monthly balance sheet review and follow-up on reconciling and aged items. 
• Preparation and remittance of monthly tax returns (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.) 
• Maintain a schedule to keep track of all tax payments and receipts to easily determine any outstanding. 
• Maintain and review fixed assets register to ensure protection of company’s assets as well as provide support for annual fixed assets verification exercise. 
• Performing risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments. 
• Provide support for external and tax audits with detailed analysis of transactions, preparation of schedules and support documents as may be required. 
• Assist with budget preparation and strategic business plans.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.Carry out any other assigned duties as may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• At least 3 to 5 years of full-cycle accounting work experience 
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a B2B, e-commerce or tech related industry. 
• An accounting degree or any related discipline. 
• Membership of ICAN / ACCA 
• Adequate knowledge of MS office. Understanding of Local Tax Laws & IFRS. 
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
